Hello!

I’ve been experimenting with the CH201 developer kit and SonicLink software.

My understanding is that the CH201 can have a FOV of up to 180 degrees.

Does this mean it can detect amplitude at every degree within this range, from 0 to 180 degrees?

For instance, if I mount the CH201 on the ceiling and position two people equidistant from the sensor, should it register two distinct amplitude spikes as illustrated in my diagram?

I would like to create an underwater fish detector - completely operating underwater (personal project)
The enclosure will be a waterproof hollow cylinder (possible material to use are: acrylic, Polycarbonate or PVC), a PCB will be sealed inside that enclosure containing the sensor (CH201 with narrow FoV horn).
The fish can pass through that hollow and will be detected while passing. the inner diameter of the enclosure will be in the centimeter range to allow one fish to pass at a time.

I'm trying to use CH101 to Arduino nano 33 BLE rev2. But, there's no library for CH101. Is there anyone handled this problem before? Please share the code..

Hey Everybody I have a few different issues; feel free to chirp in regarding either one.

I have a CH101-03 evaluation module and an CH101 demo kit with the sensor already mounted on the top board. I am looking to try out the pulse echo and pitch catch mode on the demo kit.

What are the advantages of using MEMS Ultrasonic ToF sensors in a spacebar counter application, and how do they compare to other sensor technologies?

Hi all,

I'm testing the ICU-10201 features using EV_MOD_ICU-20201-00-01 + development/host board (DK-x0201) + daughter/evaluation board (PN100-06351).
You can see attached a photo of my setup.

We have been unsuccessful in implementing a membrane type PIF on CH101 sensor to protect sensor ingress against liquid splashes and short submerging. The sensor starts giving wrong readings (random values) when a acoustic membrane type PIF is integrated. We have attempted multiple trials on MOD_CH101 with while keeping the existing mesh type PIF & without the Mesh type PIF. We have trialled even with the tube type 180deg horns. The PIFs we have trialled are -

2. Ipro acoustic membranes - PF-Y015
