Hi, I am a hobbyist, and new to the hardware side of things and was wondering what would be a good resource to figure out how to transmit the data from the MPU-6500 to a mobile phone over bluetooth.

My goal is to attach the MPU-6500 and bluetooth transmitter? to a pen and teach a neural network to recognize what is being written based on the transmitted accelerometer/gyro data.

We would like to include the chip in our product. the host is Linux platform and we intend connect the ICM-20602 using the I2C interface to the main-board.
I didn't find reference driver in the developers corner. is there another chip which is similar we can use as reference ?

Hi, I am trying to communicate with 10 IMUs with a Raspberry Pi Zero’s I2C(only one) interface in motion capture.
I intend to choose MPU-9250 as motion acquisition sensor. My schematic diagram is in the attachment.

Some questions confused me after I checked the MPU-9250 Product Specification Revision 1.0.

As captioned, after flashing the original or complied hex/out file from CA-SDK 5.1 source code to the CA-SDK board, it is not function as usual. It seems to be OK at beginning. However, after 3 times blue-light LED flashing at the middle of the PCB, it seems to be reset by itself and restart again in looping. Does anyone have any idea on it? Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi, I am working on position tracking of human hand palm center. Is it possible to use MPU-9250 to accurately determine the position of the palm as the human hand moves. I have read in some places that accurate position tracking using IMUs is not possible since the error in accelerometer output accumulates over time with the double integration needed to determine position. Is there a way to tackle this problem?

I've been looking into getting my older MPU-6000-EVB up and running with an Atmel SAMG55 (Cortex M4).
It is very confusing seeing the MPU-6050 called out in these documents. Can I take it for granted that the current driver (6.12) will work fine with my MPU6000-EVB ?

I am new to MP9250 sensor. I want to sample all the three sensors more then 400 Hz and also use the DMP. In data sheet it is mentioned that while using DMP the sensors can be sampled max at 200 Hz.

Can we use the DMP alone and let the controller do the sampling at higher rate ? This way we can pass the value to DMP for processing and get the results. Or is there a way to use the DMP functionality on to the controller ?

Our requirement is to sample the sensors at higher rate and process the values using the motion fusion like DMP.

Hi All,

I am trying to use MPU 6050 sensor to detect motions inside MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) chamber. Problem is that any ferromagnetic materials can't be used inside MRI chamber. It may result in missile effect and can cause accidents.

I need to know what is the exact material used in the connecting pins of the sensor IC? And if these pins are made up of ferromagnetic material, is there any other similar product (I need tri axis accelerometer and tri axis gyroscope) which make use of MRI compatible metals?

Any input in this regard will be highly appreciated.
