- Resolution - 16 bits

We are a group of students and we are working for the first time with IMU's and I2C.
We are trying to communicate with ICM-20948, connected to an ESP32 via I2C. We are configuring ESP32 with Arduino IDE, using these libraries to interface with the IMU:

I am using I2CDEVLIB with v6.12 DMP code over Arduino.
When I have Z-Axis pointing up the init is OK and subsequent results from the device are solid good and make sense.
For example flipping the device I get (-1G) measured in the Z axis.

This seems to be a pretty standard request but the data sheet is impenetrable.

How, as in which registers do I write to, in order to have the AK09916 data available in the EXT_SLV_SENS_DATA registers ? I'm attempting to set continuous, say 10Hz, data on the AK09916 and set SLV0 to read from the AK09916 6 bytes from HXL. The data in EXT_SLV_SENS_DATA_0 does not update.

I am using code from the DK-20948 Smartmotion distribution to work the this sensor. I ported the sample app code that initializes the IMU and pulls data out of the sensor after it interrupts to a Nordic nRF5280 based product that has the IMU on the board, and since this did not work, also used a Nordic SDK board with the IMU on a breakout board just to see if the problem were something about the product board design.

I am currently using ICM20948 for my motion based application.
I am facing one issue is that I am not able to get wake on motion interrupt from the IMU where when I am setting the raw data ready interrupt I am getting Interrupt successfully.

What was the purchase of Invensense too much to handle, TDK?

Whats up? I see posts for the TDK/Invensense motion sensors, but there seems to little help! Is Apple having trouble implementing your devices?
