SmartMotion® MEMS Motion Sensors

Hello Everyone,

I am using the ICM-20789 and communicating with the chip over I2C. I have established communication and I can read instantaneous measurements from their respective buffers. I am now trying to utilize the FIFO and I am having many issues. A few things that are a little bizarre:

eMD-SmartMotion-ICM20602 application is not compiling properly in atmel studio as Software User Guide For DK-20602 Dev Kit document said

The question is "What is the different between ICM-42688-P and ICM-42688-V?"
I compare there parameters, but can not find any difference. But it said ICM-41688-P suits robot application but ICM-32688-V is not. So I want to know why?

We are interfacing the ICM-42670-P to our host via I2C and using Linux kernel version 4.9.253. Linux driver package is required to integrate with our device.

Please share the corresponding details.

I have configured the registers as per the datasheet. I get interrupts at every sample interval rather than when there is motion. It seems as though instead of wake-on-motion the data-ready interrupt is enabled. I have verified all the register have the correct values.

I migrated to this part from the ICM-20602 which used a very similar wake-on-motion initialization process and it worked fine.

Any suggestions as to what I may be missing?

What is the difference between icm-20608-D and icm-20608-G? Are they the same driver code and Same circuit?

I want to use the WOM function and want to be notified by INT1/INT2.Wom triggering is now not possible with the official routine example-wom.In addition, based on the example-raw- AG mileage, FIFO WaterMarker interruption has been modified to trigger INT1 reading.Hope to provide WOM with a routine that interrupts INT1/INT2 notification or helps us check and fix our code configuration to achieve this functionality.

The ICM-20689 has a QFN with powerpad but it doesn't state what the powerpad should be tied to. Should it be tied to GND or left floating?
Same for the other pins with no function do we leave floating or tie to GND?

Hi, I have an ICM-20648 sensor which I need to programming and read data from a PIC. Please, I would like to know if you have some example code to make this or what is thw software where i can generate some values to programm the sensor's registers.

I bought a SmartBug to experiment with IoT, but could not find the way to read the data or talk to the hardware using Matlab or any similar program except the proprietary SmartBug software provided. My question is how I could read the raw or processed data coming from multiple sensors on the SmartBug directly using Matlab or python?
